Many
people like to start and/or finish their walks at a pub.
Walking to a pub for lunch on a circular route is also very
popular. There are many such possibilities just a
short drive from our Garden Hideaways.

The
Fighting Cocks, Godshill
Pub situated on B3078 1.5 miles east of Fordingbridge.
A very enjoyable walk of 3.5 miles across open Forest and
farmland, ideal for all the family.
The
Royal Oak, North Gorley
Pub signed from A338 Ringwood-Fordingbridge.
2.75 mile walk across farmland, open scrub and through the
peaceful village of Hyde.
The
Foresters Arms, Frogham
On the Stuckton Road from Fordingbridge
Several walks possible across the Forest from here. One
popular route is to head across the common to the Royal
Oak at Fritham for lunch. About 4 miles each way.

woodland enclosures. Takes in Breamore House and the
